Ki, chi, prana - the energy that's present in everything, everywhere - is our life force and a strong flow maintains our health on all levels. I intuitively mix different healing modalities to help mind, body and spirit return to that energy flow.
I started out as a Reiki practitioner having been 'attuned' to the energy. Reiki healers work as a channel, drawing energy in and passing it on to the recipient simply through placing their hands on the person's/animal's body. As a treatment it's not a cure, but a therapy that opens the recipient to balance, flow, peace...whatever's the highest good for them at the time.
Energy healing is about intention and love. Some believe it to be a spiritual energy that enables specific change, some believe it brings about relaxation through the simple act of touch and healing is always easier when you're relaxed. Either way, we win. Personally, I believe we are all part of the same 'life' and through simple connection to the source can help our collective life force to flow as it should.
Training
I was attuned to Reiki 1 level in 1998 and Reiki 2 and 3 in 2000. Across those years I've continued to learn, helping family, friends and animals with hands-on and distance work.
Gradually I've moved on into deeper, intuitive energy work mixing reiki with shamanic practice, acupressure and guided healing. I don't really have a name for it, I simply feel it.
Distance healing
Energy healing is not subject to the same laws of time and space as the physical world and works equally well over distance. During a distance healing I focus solely on the recipient and their situation for 30 minutes. All I need from you is a location and a name. I don't need to know your details unless you'd like to talk about them; the energy will naturally flow to where it's needed.
